NAD+ and more: everything else I’ve tried on myself

Stem cells and peptides have their own sections. This page covers everything else: six things that don’t fit either group, and each one has its own page. I’ve done all of them myself, because that’s the rule the whole thing runs on. Nothing gets offered that we haven’t tried on ourselves first.

What surprised me is how differently they show up. I feel one while it’s still going in. Another sends me straight to sleep. With a third, I mostly notice it when I touch my own skin. Here they are one at a time.

NAD+: the one I feel in the chair

This is the only thing I’ve tried where the effect comes during the drip rather than the next day. My head goes clear right there in the chair. Other people describe it differently, and some just say they feel alert. I still do it regularly, in rounds, and I’ve never had a side effect. But “I was fine” is not the same sentence as “you’ll be fine.” → NAD+

Young blood plasma: the one people agree on

I did it and I felt a difference. What stays with me is that almost everyone I’ve met who has done it says the same thing. The way I put it, it’s like extracting the good stuff, ready to use. These days I have it now and again, not on a schedule. → Young blood plasma

Placenta extract: the low-effort one

It’s one injection into the muscle, and that’s the whole visit. What most people notice is soft, smooth skin. The explanation I was given is that it’s about collagen, and collagen isn’t only in your skin. It’s in every organ. I have it now and again. → Placenta extract

Exosomes (IV): the one that sends me to sleep

After the IV I want to sleep straight away. It felt like my body was asking for rest so it could repair, and I’ve stopped fighting that. Three people I’ve met described the same thing. I do it now and again. → Exosomes

PRP: what I chose instead of filler

I’ve had it on my face. It didn’t hurt, the redness was gone within a few hours, and my skin looked fresher within a few weeks. I chose it because it felt safe and natural to me. Filler was never an option for me, because I won’t trade looks for the risk of a blocked blood vessel. The honest part is that I rarely do it now. I’m busy, and it’s a man thing: I think of the needle and put it off. → PRP

IVF and fertility: the page built from the rest of this list

I haven’t been through IVF. What I have done is use every item on the fertility support list: stem cells, an antioxidant IV, placenta extract, NAD+, a fertility infusion and an IV for sperm quality. That page tells you what each one was like for me and points you to the full pages. It doesn’t tell a fertility story, because I don’t have one. → IVF and fertility

What all six have in common

None of them replaces eating properly and moving every day. I can reach all six whenever I want, and I still do most of them only now and again. Part of that is time. Part of it is that when something is always there, you put it off. You don’t need all six. You need the few that are right for you, and your body will tell you which ones those are.

If my interest sits anywhere, it’s in cells. That section is here: Stem cells. What I run in cycles is here: Peptides.

Questions I get asked

Do you do all of these at the same time?
No. NAD+ is the only one I keep doing in regular rounds. I have the rest now and again, when my body seems to want it or when I finally stop putting it off.

Which one did you notice fastest?
NAD+, during the drip itself. With the exosome IV it was the sleepiness, straight afterwards. PRP took a few weeks before I saw anything in the mirror. That’s my order. Other people’s order is often different.

Can any of these stand in for sleep, food and exercise?
Not for me. I’ve tried all of them, and I still have to eat properly and train. Nothing on this page took that job away.

Why is IVF on a page about things you’ve tried?
Because I have tried every item on that list. I haven’t tried IVF. The page tells you exactly that, and it doesn’t pretend to be anything else.

If you want to know what any of these was actually like, ask me.
