Gut Health
Gut Health is a 2-hour IV drip of amino acids, including glutamine, to support the gut lining. The state of your gut plays a crucial role in your overall wellbeing, through your digestive system and your gut microbiome. A healthy gut processes nutrients from food effectively, which makes it an essential part of good health.
Strict diets and daily supplements are not the only ways to improve gut health. Modern techniques such as IV therapy can help you reach this goal as well.
What it is and how it works
IV therapy delivers nutrients and medications directly into the bloodstream. It bypasses the digestive system, so nutrients are absorbed faster and more efficiently than from oral supplements, which are sometimes ineffective because of poor absorption.
Our Gut Health formula is an amino acid drip cocktail. Its main components are:
Glycine and proline: amino acids that help rebuild the tissue lining the digestive tract. This reduces the risk of food particles and bacteria entering the bloodstream and causing inflammation.
Glutamine: a key component of the formula. It supports gut health directly by maintaining the balance of the gut microbiome, increasing the expression of tight junction proteins (the seals between the cells of the gut lining) and minimizing the inflammatory response when the gut lining is irritated.
Other essential and non-essential amino acids: the building blocks of the body.
The formula is medical-grade, the same as used in hospitals.
What it is for
Supporting and rebuilding the gut lining.
Promoting a harmonious balance in your gut microbiome for better digestive wellness.
Aiding digestion.
Boosting immunity.
Who it is for
People who want to support their digestive health and gut lining alongside, or as an alternative to, strict diets and daily supplements.
The treatment
The Gut Health drip takes about 2 hours. You sit in a comfortable recliner while the amino acids are infused slowly into a vein in your arm. A doctor is on site for consultations and to make sure you receive the best possible care. The number of sessions is always set by your doctor after an in-person assessment.
Several treatments can be combined on the same day, as your doctor advises. You can also use more than one drip formula at the same visit. If the formulas are compatible, we combine them in a single bottle; if they cannot be mixed, we give them one after the other, changing the bottle when the first is finished. Your safety and the effectiveness of the treatment are our top priorities.
Before and aftercare
Eat. Some ingredients can cause nausea if infused on an empty stomach. A light meal or snack before your appointment also helps your body make the most of the drip.
Hydrate. Drink a few glasses of water before you come. At a cellular level the substances given by IV can be dehydrating, so your body responds better if you are well hydrated. Veins are also smaller and harder to find when you are dehydrated.
Wear comfortable clothes. A short-sleeved top, or sleeves that roll up above the elbow, is ideal. Wear comfortable trousers and socks, especially if you tend to feel cold; we have blankets to keep you warm.
Relax and bring something to enjoy. Take a few minutes to relax and breathe once you are seated, to release nervous tension. Bring a book, magazines or your favorite music with earbuds; this time is yours.

Frequently asked questions
Why use a drip for gut health rather than supplements?
A drip bypasses the digestive system, so the amino acids reach your bloodstream directly and are absorbed faster and more efficiently.
What does glutamine do for the gut?
Glutamine helps maintain the balance of the gut microbiome, increases the expression of tight junction proteins that seal the gut lining, and minimizes the inflammatory response when the gut lining is irritated.
Can I combine it with another drip?
Yes, if your doctor agrees. Compatible formulas can be combined in one bottle; others are given one after the other.
What do patients say?
A patient from the USA wrote: "I had Vitamin drips, PRP, and NAD therapy here. They use the same brands/quality ingredients that I would use back home. Could not be happier with the results. I sleep less, have more energy, and my skin/hair looks great. Extremely friendly and professional staff. I have been to this clinic over 10 times and my experience has always been good. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for cosmetic or anti-aging related therapies."
