Exosome Face

Exosome therapy brings one of the newest advances in medical and aesthetic care to your skin. It harnesses the power of exosomes, the signaling messengers derived from plant (rose) stem cells, which are known for their potential to enhance skin health.

In Exosome Face, the exosome solution is delivered into the skin by microneedling and injection. Every patient receives a full 5 ml bottle, opened and mixed fresh for them alone. The treatment is for hydration, radiance and skin renewal.

What it is and how it works

Exosomes are small, membrane-bound vesicles secreted by various cells in the body, including stem cells. These microscopic structures play a crucial role in cell-to-cell communication by transferring proteins, nucleic acids and other molecules between cells. Exosomes are like messengers that carry important information, influencing the behavior and function of the cells that receive them.

Exosomes are tiny, circular particles ranging from 30 to 150 nanometers in diameter. They carry a vast array of about 1,000 different types of bioactive molecules, including growth factors, cytokines, mRNA and various other biological compounds. These signaling molecules instruct other cells to repair, regenerate or calm inflammation: they stimulate tissue repair, modulate the immune response and promote overall healing. In skincare and aesthetics, exosome therapy is being explored for its ability to enhance skin health, rejuvenate tissues and address various dermatological concerns.

Unlike stem cells, exosomes do not contain DNA and do not replicate. This makes them a non-cell-based form of regeneration, with no live cell content, that enhances communication between cells and improves cellular signaling and inflammation control.

The exosome we use

We use ASCEplus (ASCE+) exosome, a product from South Korea made by the ExoCoBio Inc. laboratory. ExoCoBio is a pioneer in the research and development of exosomes (its name stands for EXOsome COsmeceuticals & BIOpharmaceuticals) and holds a global patent for its technology. Its ExoSCRT technology keeps the molecules small, so they are absorbed into the skin quickly and work with high efficiency. The official distributor in Thailand is Aesthetics by Ampex, a reputable provider of beauty and medical products.

Several brands of exosomes are available today. ASCE+ is derived from rose stem cells (Rose Stem Cell Exosome). It can stimulate collagen, reduce wrinkles, minimize melanin granules and alleviate inflammation. Its key components are lipids, microRNA (miRNA), proteins and growth factors, all controlled to strict quality standards, including molecular size, composition, purity and cell testing. Reviews of ASCE+ show excellent results.

What it is for

Exosome Face is for hydration, radiance and skin renewal. Its benefits include:

  • Deep skin rejuvenation. Exosomes work at a deep level to repair and restore skin cells, contributing to overall skin rejuvenation.

  • Anti-inflammatory effects. Exosomes inhibit inflammation, calming the skin and reducing redness and irritation.

  • Cellular repair and regeneration. Exosomes enhance the cellular repair process, promoting the regeneration of healthy skin tissue.

  • Collagen and elastin production. The treatment stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, improving skin elasticity and firmness.

  • Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Exosome therapy minimizes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, giving the skin a smoother and more youthful look.

Exosomes alongside other treatments

Exosomes can enhance outcomes and promote healing as a supplementary treatment across many procedures, including facial stem cell therapy, fractional laser, microneedling and ultrasound lifting. Because these treatments depend on the body's own collagen production, exosomes serve as an effective tool to strengthen cell-to-cell communication and help the body perform at its best.

Who it is for

Exosome Face suits patients who:

  • Want a low-risk, non-cellular regenerative treatment

  • Are treating mild skin aging

  • Prefer a lighter protocol, with quick recovery and fewer medical evaluations

  • Are looking for a complement to other regenerative or aesthetic treatments

It is also suitable for more severe skin concerns, such as marked sun damage (photoaging), with a course of several sessions.

Who should not have it

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women

  • People with cancer

  • People allergic to flower pollen

  • People taking immunosuppressive medication

  • People with autoimmune diseases

The treatment

The whole treatment takes 45 to 60 minutes. We prioritize your comfort throughout, and we tailor each step to your concerns.

  1. Thorough skin preparation. We begin with a meticulous deep cleansing of your skin.

  2. Numbing. We apply a generous layer of numbing cream so that the treatment is comfortable and pain-free.

  3. A plan tailored to you. Tell us your concerns and preferences; we plan the intradermal injections specifically around your needs.

  4. Intradermal injections. Our skilled practitioners inject exosome solution into the skin, focusing on your areas of concern.

  5. Microneedling with exosomes. After the injections, we perform microneedling resurfacing infused with exosomes, for optimal absorption and effectiveness.

  6. Relaxing facial massage. We finish with a soothing facial massage, which helps you relax and helps the exosomes absorb completely into the skin.

Each patient receives the full dose of exosome: one 5 ml bottle per person. The entire bottle is used in your session, with no sharing with anyone else.

How many sessions?

The number of sessions is always set by your doctor after an in-person assessment. Generally, one session is enough. For severe skin problems, such as severe sun damage (photoaging), 3 to 5 sessions are recommended, spaced as follows:

  • Sessions 1 to 3: a 2-week gap between each session

  • Session 4: a 1-month gap

  • Session 5: a 1-year interval

How long the results last depends on each person's genetic makeup and lifestyle; generally, the treatment is recommended once a year. Several treatments can be combined on the same day, as your doctor advises.

Before and aftercare

After exosome treatment, you may have some redness, swelling or itching at the treated sites. These usually improve within 2 to 3 days. There may be some tenderness or bruising along the needle puncture sites on the first night.

  • Avoid touching, rubbing, massaging or pressing the treated area, and avoid direct contact with it.

  • Avoid treatments or laser procedures that apply heat energy to the skin for about 7 to 14 days.

  • Avoid hot showers and activities involving excessive heat.

  • Avoid strenuous exercise, as it may affect the treated area.

  • Apply a generous amount of moisturizer suitable for sensitive skin, especially during the first two weeks.

  • Avoid prolonged and intense sun exposure, including sunbathing, and apply sunscreen diligently during the first two weeks.

Quality and safety

A whole bottle, opened fresh for you. Our whole-bottle approach is exclusively for you. While many places share one 5 ml bottle between 3 or 4 customers, we open and mix a fresh solution for every patient. You receive the full bottle, freshly mixed, never left over from someone else. This not only ensures optimal effectiveness but also reduces the risk of infection, because leftover or shared exosomes can compromise both the results and the safety of the treatment.

  • Exosomes from ExoCoBio, South Korea, controlled for molecular size, composition, purity and cell testing, and supplied through the official distributor in Thailand.

  • Sourced from licensed laboratories, handled under strict safety protocols and fully documented.

  • Your doctor designs a personalized protocol based on your consultation and, where relevant, your lab results.

  • Sterile administration in a hospital-grade setting.

  • Exosome therapy is a lighter, simple outpatient treatment with no live cell content, often preferred by patients looking for fast recovery and minimal risk.

The science

Exosomes and stem cells compared

Exosomes and stem cells are not competitors; they are complementary tools in the regenerative toolbox.

  • Live cells: stem cells contain live cells; exosomes do not.

  • Replication in the body: stem cells replicate temporarily; exosomes do not replicate.

  • Typical uses: stem cells for joint pain, lung disease and chronic inflammation; exosomes for skin rejuvenation and hair loss.

  • Onset of results: about 2 to 6 weeks for stem cells; about 1 to 4 weeks for exosomes.

  • Treatment complexity: stem cells need more preparation and aftercare; exosome treatment is a simple outpatient procedure.

Many patients combine both, for example IV stem cells with an exosome facial, to target inflammation and renew the skin's surface at the same time.
