CJC-1295

CJC-1295 is a peptide that stimulates the release of growth hormone, promoting increased muscle mass and fat loss. It also enhances recovery and improves sleep quality.

At the clinic, CJC-1295 is supplied as a 5 mg vial, sourced from the USA with a Certificate of Analysis, and prescribed under the supervision of a licensed doctor to ensure safety, appropriate dosing and correct injection technique.

What it is and how it works

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as precise signaling molecules in the body. Think of them as "keys" that unlock specific biological "locks": they tell your cells to carry out functions such as burning fat, repairing tissue or boosting collagen, which may have slowed down with age or stress.

CJC-1295 is a synthetic peptide that stimulates the body's own growth hormone (GH) release by acting on growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH) receptors. Rather than supplying growth hormone from outside, it prompts your pituitary gland to release more of its own.

The CJC-1295 we use does not contain DAC. We prioritize a pulsatile release that mimics the body's natural physiological rhythm, avoiding the continuous "GH bleed" often associated with DAC versions.

What it is for

CJC-1295 supports natural growth-hormone release for sleep, recovery and body composition. It has been studied for its potential to support:

  • Natural growth hormone release

  • Improved recovery and muscle repair

  • Increased muscle mass

  • Fat metabolism, fat loss and body composition

  • Sleep quality and overall recovery

  • Healthy aging and vitality

Growth hormone secretagogues such as CJC-1295 can also play a part in weight management: they help regulate appetite, improve insulin sensitivity and target stubborn visceral fat while preserving lean muscle.

Who it is for

CJC-1295 suits adults who want to support their natural growth-hormone release to improve sleep, recovery, muscle and body composition, and healthy aging, after a doctor has confirmed at an in-person consultation that it is appropriate for them.

Who should not have it

CJC-1295 may not be suitable for everyone. Talk to your doctor before use if you have:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Active cancer or a history of hormone-sensitive cancer

  • Pituitary disorders

  • Uncontrolled diabetes or severe metabolic disease

  • Known hypersensitivity to peptide products

There are no well-defined drug-interaction studies for CJC-1295. Tell your doctor if you are taking:

  • Insulin or diabetes medications

  • Growth hormone or IGF-1 therapies

  • Corticosteroids

  • Other peptides or hormone-modulating treatments

The treatment

Your treatment starts with an in-person consultation, where your doctor reviews your health, goals and current medications and decides whether CJC-1295 is right for you. If it is, you receive your vials and injection kit, and the nurse teaches you how to mix the peptide and give your first injection in clinic. You then continue the injections yourself at home, following the protocol your doctor has set, with follow-up from the medical team.

Please note that orders of several peptide vials may need up to 3 days before pick-up, depending on stock.

Your doctor decides how long your course lasts after an in-person assessment. Several treatments can be combined on the same day, as your doctor advises.

Dosing and schedule

  • Vial: 5 mg CJC-1295

  • Mixing: 2 ml sterile water per vial

  • Dose: 0.04–0.08 ml (100–200 mcg) per injection, which is 4–8 units on an insulin syringe, as prescribed

  • Route: subcutaneous (just under the skin) injection with an insulin syringe, the abdomen preferred

  • Frequency: once daily, on weekdays only (5 days a week)

  • Fasting: fast for 2–3 hours before each injection

  • Vials needed: 1 vial per month

For best results, inject on an empty stomach after 2–3 hours of fasting, and avoid eating for at least 30–60 minutes after the injection, unless your doctor instructs otherwise.

How to prepare and inject at home

The nurse teaches your first injection in clinic, so you can continue confidently at home, and an injection kit is included with your peptide. Always use the dose your doctor has prescribed.

Step 1: Mix the peptide

You do this only once per vial. Wash your hands and clean the tops of both vials (the peptide vial and the sterile water) with an alcohol swab. Draw the prescribed amount of sterile water into the syringe and inject it slowly down the side of the peptide powder vial. Gently swirl until the solution is clear. Do not shake.

Step 2: Draw the dose

Clean the vial top with an alcohol swab and let it dry. Draw air into the syringe equal to your prescribed dose and inject the air into the vial. Turn the vial upside down and draw the correct number of units. Remove any air bubbles and recheck the dose.

Step 3: Inject

Choose an injection site on the abdomen, staying 2–3 cm away from the navel, and rotate sites each time. Clean the skin with an alcohol swab and let it dry. Pinch a small fold of skin, insert the needle at 90° (or at 45° if you are very lean) and inject slowly. Wait 2–3 seconds, then withdraw the needle.

Step 4: Store and dispose safely

Never reuse needles or syringes. Put used needles into a sharps container or a hard plastic bottle with a secure lid.

Storage

Once mixed, keep the vial in the refrigerator at 2–8 °C. Label it with the date and time you mixed it, and use it within 30 days of mixing.

Before and aftercare

  • Fast for 2–3 hours before each injection and wait 30–60 minutes after it before eating, unless your doctor advises otherwise.

  • Rotate your injection sites regularly.

  • Most patients tolerate CJC-1295 well. Possible side effects include mild injection-site irritation, headache or flushing, temporary water retention, and, rarely, tingling or fatigue. Some growth peptides can also increase hunger. Side effects are usually mild and temporary and can often be managed by adjusting the dose under your doctor's guidance.

  • Report any persistent or unusual symptoms to your doctor.

Quality and safety

  • An in-person doctor consultation first. Peptides are powerful signaling molecules that affect hormones and metabolism, and using them without a doctor is risky. Only a doctor can screen for existing conditions, such as undiagnosed tumors, where certain peptides (like growth hormone secretagogues) could be harmful, and check your current medications for interactions, especially blood-sugar and hormonal treatments.

  • USA-sourced, with a batch Certificate of Analysis. Our peptides come from carefully selected suppliers in the United States that meet strict quality standards. Each batch is supported by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) from an independent third-party laboratory confirming identity and purity. To prevent unauthorized copying or misuse, these documents are not sent electronically; you are welcome to review the original certificates in person at your consultation.

  • The nurse teaches your first injection in clinic.

  • Injection kit included. Every peptide comes with a complete injection support kit: a solution-mixing syringe, insulin syringes, sterile water for injection (bacteriostatic, medical grade), medical alcohol pads for skin and vial cleaning, and written instructions. We supply the exact number of kits your protocol needs plus 2 extra complete kits as a backup, so your treatment is never interrupted. Additional kits are available if you need more.

  • Follow-up. Peptide therapy is provided through a dedicated peptide department with its own communication and follow-up system, with clear protocols and guidance from the medical team.

Why the source of a peptide matters

Choosing where your peptides come from is about more than convenience: it is about making sure that what you inject is biologically active and safe. Peptides bought from unregulated "research chemical" websites (often sourced from grey markets in China or India) bypass the safety filters that protect your health. Independent laboratory analyses of black-market peptides, including research published in journals such as Drug Testing and Analysis (see "Hazard Analysis of Falsified Peptide Medicines"), have found:

  • Heavy metals: high levels of lead, mercury or arsenic from poor manufacturing.

  • Endotoxins: residual bacteria from non-sterile production, which can trigger systemic inflammation or sepsis.

  • Residual solvents: chemicals such as trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) used during synthesis, which must be removed by medical-grade purification.

  • Incorrect sequences: peptides are precise "codes" for your cells. If even one amino acid is out of place, the peptide will not work, or your immune system may attack it. Grey-market products are frequently "broken keys" that do not fit the body's biological locks.

  • Immunogenicity: poor-quality peptides can cause the body to develop "anti-drug antibodies", which can permanently damage natural hormone production (see "Toxicity and Safety Aspects of Biologically Active Peptides").

  • Heat damage: peptides are fragile proteins. Shipped by standard post in hot containers without temperature control, they denature (break down).

Our standard is the opposite: USA-sourced peptides, a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis using HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) to prove each peptide is exactly what it claims to be, and a medical cold chain that keeps the peptides stable and effective from the laboratory to you.

The science

Growth hormone release

CJC-1295 is a GHRH analog: it acts on the same receptors as the body's own growth hormone–releasing hormone, prolonging and amplifying the pituitary's natural release of growth hormone. Research on this peptide and on growth hormone regulation includes:

  • Teichman SL, et al. Prolonged stimulation of growth hormone secretion by CJC-1295.

  • Chapman IM, et al. Growth hormone–releasing hormone analogs and GH secretion.

  • Vance ML. Growth hormone secretagogues and physiology.

  • Thorner MO, et al. Mechanisms of growth hormone regulation.

Why fasting and weekday dosing

Insulin and raised blood sugar can blunt growth hormone secretion, so injecting after a 2–3 hour fast helps maximize GH release. A 5-days-on / 2-days-off schedule is commonly used to support the body's responsiveness and reduce receptor desensitization.

Frequently asked questions

Why inject only on weekdays?

A 5-days-on / 2-days-off schedule is commonly used to support responsiveness and reduce receptor desensitization.

Why is fasting required?

Fasting helps maximize growth hormone release, because insulin and raised blood sugar can blunt GH secretion.

Does this peptide contain DAC?

No. We prioritize a pulsatile release that mimics the body's natural physiological rhythm, avoiding the continuous "GH bleed" often associated with DAC versions.

How soon can I expect to see results?

Results vary with each patient's baseline health. Most patients notice improvements in sleep quality, energy and mental clarity within the first 2–4 weeks. Physical changes, such as fat loss or improved muscle tone, typically become visible after 8–12 weeks of consistent use.

Do I need to take peptides forever?

No. Peptide therapy is often used in cycles (for example, 3–6 months) to help the body "reset" or reach a specific goal. Once you reach your target, the doctors help you move to a maintenance plan or take a break so your body can maintain its new balance naturally.

Why is it injected rather than taken by mouth?

Although some peptides come in oral or nasal forms, the most effective route for most therapeutic peptides is a subcutaneous injection with a tiny needle just under the skin. This ensures full absorption, whereas oral peptides are often broken down by stomach acid before they can work.

Is peptide therapy safe?

Peptide therapy is considered very safe when given under medical supervision. Because peptides are bioidentical or very similar to those the body makes naturally, they are generally well tolerated. Safety risks usually arise from unregulated "black market" sources or incorrect doses.

Can I use CJC-1295 if I take other medications?

In most cases, yes, but a medical consultation is vital. The doctors review your current medications to make sure there are no contraindications, especially with treatments related to blood sugar or hormones.

Why buy from a clinic rather than an online "research" site?

Unregulated sites often source from overseas laboratories with no quality control, and studies have found such products can contain heavy metals, bacteria or incorrect doses. We use only USA-sourced peptides with a Certificate of Analysis, together with medical oversight to prevent side effects.

Do you provide injection supplies?

Yes. A complete injection kit is included, with 2 spare kits, and additional supplies are available if needed.
